Harry

Thank you for your email.  Harry is doing great.  He owns every room in the house and has quickly adapted to the cat door where the 5x9 2nd story patio is his oasis, rain or shine.  He does not try escape and loves watching birds and listening to the water in the creek.  I have included some pictures showing some of his favorite poses.  He loves his scratching post and groomer which he frequently rubs against, keeping his coat shiny and fluffy.  Harry has a favorite catnip filled mouse which he takes from room to room.  He is very affectionate and loves to curl up in your lap.  Harry loves to talk all hours of the day and night.

He is perfect!

Thank you,

Debbie

Baby- now Ripple

Ripple, previously Baby, has been with us about two and a half months now. She loves her donut bed, playing fetch, the sunshine and laps.

Every morning we enjoy a long walk together, and she loves saying hello to everyone along the way with her perky ears and wagging tail. When we get home, she darts straight for her squeaky toy. And after all the excitement, she cuddles up on her Seahawks blanket on the couch.

She listens pretty well so far, and we are getting ready for her training class starting in May.

We couldn't ask for a sweeter or more loving dog.

Little Miss Greta Garbo update

It's hard to believe it's been over a year since I brought Garbo home (now Little Miss Greta). She has settled in quite nicely.  She has such a fun personality and is constantly keeping me entertained with all her quirks.  She thrives on having a routine.  She lets me know if we stray from it, especially when it comes time to eat, sleep and wake up.  Twice now I have witnessed her actually turn off my radio alarm in the morning.  At night, it's especially cute when she hangs out on the bathroom counter and helps me brush my teeth.  She also keeps my forehead clean by cleaning it with her tongue on a regular basis.  Greta has even gotten accustomed to the neighbor dog coming by the sliding glass door to visit. We've had some struggle with losing weight but now feel we are on the right track. I couldn't imagine my life without her and feel I've found a true treasure at Homeward Pet.

Much Love,

Benny

Hello !!!
Just wanted to give you an "update" on Benny. Benny is a very active little kitten. Well, he's not so little now. He holds his own with our other cats and loves to chase Tony, another Maine Coon. They play ruff and tuff..... Meaning they don't bite or anything, just run, run, run.... totally great entertainment ~~

Thank you for everything. I have recommended your place for a wonderful experience in adopting.

Tammy

Charm

Hi,
Just want to let you know that a kitty Charm that we adopted from you recently is doing really well. She still needs to learn not to chase our dog, but we are working on it and have all confidence that she will learn how to get along. She is wonderful with all our family including our 4 year old.
Thank you,
Anna

Spencer and Archie (now Bingley and Darcy)

Hi there!
My name is Jessie, and just over a week ago my fiancé Kirk and I adopted Irving's two brothers, Spencer and Archie (little orange kitty and a little black kitty that looks like Irving). They have been wonderful kitties, a little skittish but warming quickly, and absolutely no behavioral problems.
Can't thank you enough for our sweet kitties (now named Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy)!
Thank you!
Jessie and Kirk

Galley (formerly Mavis)

Just wanted to update you on our happy little cat, known as Mavis when we adopted her, but who now answers to Galley, because she lives on a sailboat. She has been a great addition to our family and crew, and regularly gives baths to our older cat, Bosun (who only grumbles a little). She loves being out on deck in her harness on sunny spring days.

Molly

Hi,
An update on ( Ester) our sweet, new kitty adopted on 3/27. She has a new name, Molly, which she took to almost immediately.  I want to thank Sara H for her help in introducing us that evening. You were shorthanded & we had to wait a while till we could meet any of the cats. Also, we'd come to adopt Scottie, who we fell in love with online, but he was adopted that afternoon before we arrived. Sara was really patient, and allowed us ample time to greet several kitties, but Molly had called out to us herself, and as soon as we met her there was no way we would be leaving without her!

Taco

Dear Homeward Ped Adoption Center,

We adopted "Taco" from Homeward Pet in the beginning of February, and we want to let you know how happy we are with the kitty!  Attached some pictures, so you can see how well he is doing :)  We named him "Calcifer," which is a charactor from a movie, Howl's Moving Castle.

We enjoy every day with him.  He has such a good manner that he keeps the house in a shape as it is while we are gone to work.  He comes over to the door and greet us as soon as he hears our key unlocking the door.  He loves getting picked up and cuddled which we enjoy very much also.

We watch his diet not to over feed him, and making sure the food we pick for him is all organic.

He runs around the house sounding like a horse, play hide and seek with us and jumps up high to catch his favorite toy up in the air.  Once he's done playing, he comes up to the couch and relax with us.

He likes to take a nap in kids closet, and go to sleep on our bed together.  As soon as our alarm clock goes off in the morning, he comes up to our face and give us good morning kisses.  It's so cute and we enjoy that moment every morning.  It also helps us waking up on time!

We are working on a project to make a large home made scratch post for him.  We used a wooden ladder wrapped with recommended rope for cats in many web sites and going to put some platforms on the wall for him to go up high and play/rest.  We are still in the middle of it, but he likes it so far that he spends lots of time there already.  Once it's done, we'll send you a picture of it with him also :)

Thank you very much for providing us such a great opportunity to meet the wonderful cat!  He is a great addition to our family and we are very happy with him!

My new little genius (Lt, formerly Auntie Em)

After adopting Lt (pronounced, "Elty", but means "Lieutenant"), life started picking up for Peter and I, in other places. But like a little miracle, Lt has been able to adapt to whatever we've needed. She's absolutely brilliant, with lots of personality to boot. Each day that passes, she seems to learn so much; she will gladly sit for a treat, and is adapting to her leash with great progress. Here and Stay are going well too.

She has little ways of warming our hearts; when our new desks for the house arrived, and Peter had set up his, she decided she was going to be sitting on the little table where the computer tower goes, right beside him. Quiet and sweet, she sat there for a while; he had thought she had wandered off! She tends to remain at mommy's heels during the day, quite literally, and is getting much better at walking on a leash.

If there's one thing she loves more than food, and loves more than investigating loose dirt and tall ivy, though, it's sitting in laps. In the evenings, I let her up on the couch with me, and she finds every position she can to sleep in across my lap.

Thank you to Homeward Pet; without you I'd never have met my Lt.

Polly (AKA Pot Roast)

Hi, I needed a new dog and we found Polly, AKA Pot Roast on November 2, 2012. She is the sister to Wiggly, Pork Chop and T Bone. She has adjusted to life here at our house with our mastiff Vega and daughter's dog, Bailey, AKA Deliliah from Your place too.
She is a bit of a Velcro dog, so she is my dog. She loves to walk and play. I forgot about the high energy level of puppies, since my dog passed away at 17 last year, it was quite awhile since we did the puppy thing.
She did very well in her class, thank you for including that in the packet.

Winnie the Poodle and Family Visiting Homeward Pet

Winnie the Poodle with her family Susan and Paul visiting Homeward Pet
Thank you Susan and Paul for giving Winnie such a wonderful home! Looks like you all hit the Jackpot

Our little girl "Winnie the Poodle"

Hi Claire,
I can't tell you how happy we are after adopting "Winnie".  On Monday, March 10, I actually saw a volunteer walking her and asked when she would be available. Two days later, we were in to meet Winnie and promptly fell in love.

In spite of her frozen knee joint, Winnie is able to run like the wind on her three other legs.  She has so much energy, enjoys playing with other small dogs and visiting the alpacas next door to us on a regular basis.  Training at Doggy Haven is going well.

Thanks so much for having such a great shelter in Woodinville!

Best Regards,
Susan Paul

PS. one of the last pictures is of Winnie playing with another adoptee from Homeward Pet!

Sounder

Hello,
Here is our baby Sounder! He used to be called Caribou. He is thriving at our home! He might have gained some weight being happy! lol! He is best friends with our other fur baby Simba. He is so relaxed and has really come out of his shell! He loves playing with his pal! Thank you again for rescuing him for us! He is very special to us! I was told he was rescued from eastern Washington and in a bad medical situation. He is such a blessing to us! Please thank everyone involved in bringing our Sounder to our happy home! We have a saying....this house is our cats house, we just pay the mortgage! Lol!
Thank you!
God Bless!

We love Latte- our rescue pup!!!

Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to our family. Latte is the American Eskimo/Pomeranian that was with Homeward Pet for about a week until her adoption on 3/27/13. She has stolen our hearts with her adorable antics. I'm getting the exercise I need, too. The photos are of her before her groomer appointment and two afterward. My husband has fallen in love her and she with him. I always said no dog was ever going to sleep on my bed ......guess what! She's the perfect little night time buddy with perfect manners. She's learning to love car rides and has quit shaking and panting. We begin obedience training in a week and everyone who meets her tells us how beautiful she is. She's slowly getting the idea that she's not to chase the cat. I'll pick up a cat tower and then everything should be fine.

We're a happy family! Thank you for Latte!

Dennis and Lucy

Dennis is doing quite well. He is one of the best kitties we have ever had. In this picture, Dennis is the one who is awake.
