Kitsune and Kismet (formerly Gobi and Snuffy)

One day in late January we dropped by Homeward with the hope of finding a bonded pair of cats to adopt. We'd been to a couple of other shelters that day but hadn't found those special someones yet. We adopted them together because Kismet had personality to spare, and even though Kitsune wouldn't come see us, we could provide him the quiet home that shelter staff thought would best suit him. He would have Kismet as a buddy and, hopefully, role model.
Fast forward a few months. Kismet is still adorable. She's alternatively cuddly, demanding (especially for wet food and playtime), goofy, and tolerant. Kitsune has turned into a love bug. He loves snuggling up to us and being cuddled. The cats are still buddies, sometimes sleeping together, playing and grooming each other.
Thank you for taking such good care of them and allowing them to come live with us. It has been so much fun to get to know them, and see their personalities change and grow as they've gotten used to us and their home.
Sincerely,
Gretchen and David and Kismet and Kitsune
