1 month update on Otis

Hi Homeward Pet,

We’ve had Otis for a month and it’s hard to imagine our life without him now.  Otis has bonded most strongly to Jollee, as they spend the most time together, including two daily walks.  He is her shadow.  Otis loves everyone in the family and is WONDERFUL with kids - very patient and affectionate.  Otis is very mellow, snorts but rarely barks, and prefers to spend most of the day sleeping.  He prefers to snuggle on our laps but will settle for laying right on a heater vent or a warm couch.  Otis is now successfully crate trained.  He sleeps overnight in his crate and hangs out there when we are gone from the house (never more than a few hours at a time).  In a few weeks Otis and Jollee will begin obedience classes.  We are pleased to report that chubby Otis has lost almost a pound since we adopted him.

Thank you for a fabulous adoption experience.  A few updated photos are attached.
