Flower

We first met Flower in June while volunteering and were struck by how playful and energetic she was, while also being cuddly. She came home in July and has since become much more cuddly and often curls up on you for hours. Later on, when we learned that she was the mother of some very special kittens we had fostered (our first foster kittens), we knew it was fate. Flower also loves to play with toys and will turn anything she can push across the floor into a toy, from pens, corks (a favorite), or batteries to her nail trimmers.

She does lots of cute things, like watching videos or inspecting the speakers looking for the kitten whose voice she heard in a video. Flower is sensitive, curious, playful and very loving. I think Flower has never hidden a single thought her whole life, every emotion is exposed.  She is a pure and unbridled being. Only Flower is Flower. We feel VERY lucky to have found her. She may not be a perfect cat but is the perfect cat for us.

Lily (now Saphira)

We just wanted to let you guys know that she is adjusting great. She gets along great with our cat, and loves outings to the park and the long walks we take on weekends.

Elvis

Elvis has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is loving and playful. Loves to follow us through the house, then jump out from his selected hiding place. He is a happy well adjusted kitten and everyday is a new adventure.

Thank you so much!

Michelle

Max

Max is doing great, and my goal is to re-unite him with his friend "Buddy", who is still at Everett Animal Shelter until he is better.

Thank you again!

Gracie

We cannot say enough about how great it is to have Gracie as a pet! She is an absolute angel and the adjustment for all of us was effortless. We have attached a photo of Gracie in her favorite chair by the fireplace, but I think she knows she rules the rest of the house too!

Thanks again to everyone!

Cash

My name is Dennis, and my wife, Michelle, and I had been fostering Cash for the last 2 weeks.

We are regular foster parents for Homeward, and have happily been foster failures a number of times. Pretty much right after he arrived, we decided he was meant for us. He of course loves to play with his favorite toys, like the usual kitten, but also has a very calm and peaceful side that I’ve never seen in a cat his age. We’re delighted to say that today we signed paperwork, and he’s officially part of our family. He now has 3 large canine siblings and an number of additional feline kitty siblings. He gets along extremely well with all.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to help the cats in your area find homes. You are amazing. Please keep up this wonderful work.

Carnation & Sweet Pea (now Slinky & Yo-Yo)

Hi! I adopted two kittens a few weeks ago, brother and sister - Carnation and Sweet Pea. We've renamed them Slinky and Yo-Yo, and they're doing great. Thought you'd like a picture of them hanging out on the sofa (watching The Olympics). Yo-Yo is on the left, with brother Slinky on the right.

Cheers!

Griffin

We got your message and wanted to let you know that Griffin is doing very well. He has really taken to his new home and us. He is really loving, easy, and mellow. He loves going on walks and recently had his first visit to Marymoor Dog Park, where he had a great time running around and playing.

Thank you and the staff at Homeward Pet for all your patience and help.

Regards,
David and Helen

Miss Kitty

Sunshine (now Molly)

We adopted Molly (your name Sunshine) on Halloween of 2013 and love her.  She is a great dog! Lots of fun, a love bug, and great walking companion.

Whitney (now Penelope)

During the summer of 2013, we decided it was time to grow our family and we stopped by to visit you guys, and we were lucky enough to meet Whitney, a terrier/pit bull.

We fell in love, and we adopted her. She now goes by Penelope. This was our families first Christmas with our Penelope and we feel very blessed that she is in our lives. I wanted to send this email to give you guys a BIG THANKS!

Molly

I just want to take a moment to let you all know how Molly is settling in. David and I could not be happier with our newly-adopted Miss Molly. She is the most perfect dog for our household, and we love her dearly.

By all appearances, she too is feeling the love and seems to be quite content.  We are feeding her a no-grain, all natural “weight maintenance” food that contains glucosamine (as well as a couple of glucosamine chews per day), plus a few fresh veggie treats – she really likes the raw carrots and green beans. We know she is on a good road to losing those extra pounds; plus, she takes us on brisk walks three times a day!

Molly is definitely housetrained and is doing just fine with having the run of the entire downstairs of our house when we are not home.  Our vet checked her thoroughly and with the exception of losing weight and the arthritis in her knees, she is in perfect health. J

Anyway, we just want to say “thank you” for our dear sweet Molly Wobbles -- if you are familiar with the Harry Potter series, then you might recall that Molly Weasley is one of the characters in the story, and her dear husband’s pet name for her is “Molly Wobbles.”  We felt it a perfect nickname for our sweet girl.

Again, thank you, everyone at Homeward Pet!
