Boomer (formerly Amos)

 

I want to thank you so much for our precious, psycho kitty - he is adorable.

Within the hour of coming home, he was curled up and cuddling with the entire family.. his favorite place is on our laps (he also loves his belly rubbed - I know that was a problem at the shelter).

He has no fear of being handled anywhere.. I can play with each of his toes, his tail, his belly... he completely trusts us.  His favorite way to sleep is in our arms on his back, with all his feet splayed out, his mouth open and totally gone.

 

In the past couple of days he has felt better, so he is in to EVERYTHING!  Play is demanded!  If one is at the bathroom sink, you must allow him to drink from the faucet!

 

He's still a bit skittish about noises:  He pricks up his ears at each noise he hears.  Yesterday we vacuumed the house for the first time and he hid for the rest of the day (within sight of us however - must be hidden, but close to my family) so we will need to deal with that, but he's a dear.  He is totally devoted to his family - he trusts us completely.
