I originally took Paula home to foster to see if her excessive drinking and bathroom habits would be different in a home environment. I fell for her during the months that we tried to determine what her medical issues were. I am happy to say that she has calmed down a lot and no longer feels the need to constantly run the perimeter of the back yard-she still does them, but not nonstop-she is a German Shorthair afterall. Her water drinking also has slowed down and with her new hormone therapy and doggie door to the back yard always available, her accidents are minimal.
She is so great with all the puppies and dogs that come through and is living the good life chasing squirrels and going to Magnuson off leash and running and running. She is the sweetest dog and fits in so well. The picture shows her playing in the yard and relaxing with her family, including a foster dog Girlie on the bed with her.
