Paula loves to run
She is so great with all the puppies and dogs that come through and is living the good life chasing squirrels and going to Magnuson off leash and running and running. She is the sweetest dog and fits in so well. The picture shows her playing in the yard and relaxing with her family, including a foster dog Girlie on the bed with her.

Gracie
I just had to send a note. Claire is now called Gracie. We are taking puppy star classes at Doggy Haven and Gracie is blooming beautifully. She is no longer 27lbs. She now weighs 46. 19 pounds. Amazing. She is as sweet as ever with manners to match. I just want to thank you for your patience with me on that big decision day and for allowing me to chat you ear off while I processed all I needed to. I am 'thrilled' with my dog. She is 'perfect' for me.

Rocky!
Thanks for checking in. "Rocky" has been renamed "Connor", in honor of the constellation of white spots in his coat. He is doing very well. He is adjusting well to his new home. He loves his people, and occupies laps whenever possible. He is very well mannered, and is very patient with the younger members of the household. He is playful, and loves chasing and carrying his favorite puff ball toys around the house.
He is a most excellent cat, and we love him dearly.

Donovan/O'Malley
The "boys" are doing great! A little crazy having two, but we love them! They are running around the house like crazy chasing each other and seem to love my son. They are adapting well. We have an appt. to take them into the vet this Saturday for their first check up and plan on having them in our lives for as long as they live! We went out and bought this carpet/scratching tower when we left your place with them on Saturday.
Thanks again for all the help. Laural was a great help to us in knowing their personalities!
Take care,
Lisa
lilly!
Just to let you know that Lilly is doing beautifully. She is adjusting to her new home and owners, and even the in-residence Jack Russell (They are already bonding). Her surgery scars are healing nicely and she seems quite at home and is very friendly with everyone. She is truly a gift and is already much loved. I think she knows that! She is the consummate ball dog, and absolutely loves her tennis balls and play time with them. She is asleep under my desk as I write this. I so appreciate all that you do down there, and will send you periodic updates on Lilly with pictures.
She is getting lots of attention here, and seems to really enjoy it.
Thank you for your loving service to these gifts of animal companionship.
Thank you for Lilly. She is such a good dog, and already part of the family. You can be sure that we will cherish her and care for her in the very best way we can.

Casey (Trinket) update
Just to let you know we adore our new little one Casey (trinket) and her big sisters are very nice to her. She is just a little clown and makes us all laugh. She like to take over the cat beds and then give them kisses as to say I was here first :o). My husband and I are very happy and thank you for helping us find the right doggie for our home.
Thank you
Judith

Marshall (now renamed Marshal Wampuss) is doing just fine. I've attached a few photos of him in is new space, one with his new sister Lucy Fur (who isn't entirely convinced he's a good idea). |
Pictures of Elvira
Hello Laurel,
Thank you for your help with adoption of Elvira (my friend suggested me a cute name and we renamed her to Puma :)). As promised, I am sending you a few pictures of Leo and Puma playing this morning. As you can see, they are getting along just fine.

Stacy!
Hello,
Our new addition to the family has been bundle of fun and a little crazy at times, but overall we are so happy to have adopted her. Attached are some pictures of Jersey (original name was Stacy). She loves everyone she meets and is adjusting to apartment life very well. We are signed up to start the training classes in a couple weeks, which we are happy about because she loves to pull on her leash and jump on everyone. She already knows sit, down, and is pretty good with everything else. Thanks for all your assistance and the wonderful help,
Amanda, Jorge, and Jersey
Sailor's (previously Sid) New Home!
Julia!
Hi Homeward Folks.
Julia the 3 year old calico is all settled in and happy. She is a terrific cat. Gets along with our 2 dogs and 2 neutered cats very well. We love her. I will send pics this week. Rest assured that Julia is in her happy forever home.
Thanks so much for allowing me to adopt her.
Warm regards,
Avonelle
Prancer!
Good afternoon - Prancer made a transition to our home very well. Our other cat was as expected a little ticked off at the intrusion. We did choose a more fitting name for him after coming home. He's adapted to being called Fusion. We consider Fusion more of a dog than a cat of course. He is ALWAYS under foot, and though we were told he is not a lap kitty per se.... we have found that to be quite the opposite. He loves to sit right beside you and always has to have a paw touching you. At night, he's taken up residency in our other kitty's favorite places....which has not made her happy. He sleeps usually right between my legs and since he's such a large cat, no amount of movement when I change positions even phases him
Attached are a few pictures of Fusion in his new home. Thanks!

Milo update - doing great! ;-)
We just wanted to send you a note and some photos of Milo – he’s doing great! Milo is truly the most wonderful dog, and has really settled in to his new home with us. He is so quiet, well behaved, and sweet! We all absolutely love him. He's had fun so far exploring the house, chasing flies, and playing with some new toys. :)
Thank you and the whole staff at Homeward Pet for taking such good care of Milo until now, you are a great organization!
cheers,
Samara
Sammi and Sasha
Just want you to know how pleased I am with Sammi and Sasha, two beautiful sisters. Sasha let me pet her from the beginning and Sammi stayed under a bed until Tuesday morning and she has been a little affectionate cat ever since. They purr, groom, play and do a little "talking". They still stay in one room, by their choice. They stay in the guest room and sleep on the bed or in a corner. I know at night they roam the house and from the beginning they have used the two cat boxes and have eaten their food that is in the kitchen. I can tell they would like to explore the house more in the day but they are still a bit nervous. When my son came over last night he met them and they didn't run away, but let him pet them. Please give Sherry a special Thank you for introducing me to Sammi and Sasha, I love them and know they are going to bring lots of fun and happiness to our home. Sincerely, Judy
