Update on Tucker

 

Hello, We adopted Tucker from Homeward Pet at the beginning of March and since we brought him home, he's been so much fun and just doing better and better every day. We think he enjoys all the attention and affection he's getting and he loves playing with his toys, especially his stuffed tiger (sometimes he just cuddles with it- it's too cute!). He's been great at the off-leash dog park, playing well with all the other dogs. He knows most commands pretty well and will do ANYTHING for food. We have been working really hard to get his behavior on-leash under control and now he walks with us really well. Unfortunately, he still reacts pretty aggressively (or eagerly?) to any other dog when he's on a leash but we've noticed a lot of improvement. He just finished a training class and did really well. We learned a lot and have been practicing so we're hopeful he'll be "saying hello" to all the other dogs he meets very soon! Otherwise, he's a happy dog and we're happy he's with us!
