My husband and I adopted Harley about 8 months ago from Homeward Pet. He is such a wonderful dog! He loves to play with other dogs and he thoroughly enjoys the water (as you can see in the pictures). He has a dog friend (that a co-worker and I jokingly refer to as his fiance) named Willow and they play together at her house. We have had such great adventures together! We've been to many diffierent dog parks, including Magnuson, and the ocean (you can see his ears blowing in the wind). Harley has been living with us in a small apartment near downtown Seattle, which has not been ideal for him, but he got to go to a doggy daycare twice a week. Unfortunately, he is very afraid of loud noises, bicycles, and most people. He does warm up, though, especially if you have a frisbee or tennis ball in your hand. And we have been working with him to decrease his fear and hypervigilance. We have recently moved to a small house in West Seattle, so Harley has a spacious backyard and a next door neighbor doggy friend. He seems to have so much more joyful, boundless energy since the move. He even seems to be smiling and wagging his tail a TON more. I think he is a pretty smart dog, too. And he really works hard for those treats! He is really respectful, as well. He won't eat a thing off of our plates even when the plate is at nose level. He has gained a good 18 pounds since we got him, but he is still a skinny, healthy dog... Harley is a great dog and we love him to death!
Thanks!
Jacquelin and Benjamin
