Thank you Homeward Pet for matching us with Cricket (aka Goldie) a few years ago. We still love her dearly and our newest family member, Spencer, loves her too.

Grace & Blythe (now Zoe & Zuzu)
The 2 sisters who were once named Grace and Blythe and then Rocket Raquel and Lilly are now going by the names of Zuzu and Zoe. They've sure had a lot of help along the way from you folks and this I think has made them the sweet and affectionate girls they are today! I've had cats my whole life and have never met any that purred this much. They are purring machines! Even when I'm just talking to them, not petting them, they purr.
We are so blessed to have them in our lives. It's only been a few weeks but we are so in love with them. They are best friends in every sense of the word. They groom each other, wrestle, chase, play, sleep, and even eat, drink, and go potty at the same time! I'm including a few photos of them in this email. You can see how much they've already grown!
If you are ever curious about their lives, feel free to send me an email. I'm never at a loss for photos!

Itchy (now Izzy)
I am the new proud owner of Izzy (her shelter name was Itchy) and I want to send a follow up letting you guys know how she's doing. Izzy has adjusted very well. She is such a sweetheart and we are so thankful for Homeward Pet and for your help with finding our precious Izzy.

King (now Kaizen)
I wanted to give you an update on "King", the pit/boxer cross whom we adopted last month. We have changed his name to Kaizen, or Kai for short (Kaizen = the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement).
Kai is an amazing dog who learns quickly and with a great attitude. He is very focused but not reactive. Friendly and adventurous. He has fit into our family really well. He and our other dogs and cat are getting along nicely, and we are maintaining stringent management protocol to keep it that way.
Some of Kai's new skills are:
Eye contact on cue, name response, "leave it" for objects and animals, crating, ex-penning, loose leash walking, sit, down (including at a distance), recalls at 50 yards, recalls away from animals, wait, back-it-up, riding well in the car, friendly vet exams, retrieving to hand, and calm response to fireworks. He is learning to get his nails trimmed and teeth brushed, etc. He is doing great!

Ty (now Spencer)
I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for giving me such a wonderful gift. He has added so much love and laughter to my life, as well as the lives of my boyfriend and 12 y.o. dog daughter.
He is incredibly well behaved, he's talkative, and he sticks to me like glue (he must always be touching me when we sleep). He has such a dainty English manner that Spencer was the only name that truly fit him as the English gentleman he is.
Thanks again! RESCUE ON!
