Heidi (formerly Farrah) adopted 8/15/09

Hi,

We adopted Heidi (aka Farrah) in August 2009, and wanted to tell you how she's doing. She is great with our two cats, and our other dog Trixie. Her and Trixie enjoy their nature walks, and rough-housing together in the living room.

She also leans on you (literally), which makes us suspect she is a Leonberger mix, this breed is nicknamed the "Lean on Berger". My ten year- old daughter says that, "Heidi is like a warm stuffed animal.

She is very attached to us, as we are with her, and are grateful to Homeward Pet that they rescued her.

Topanga (Poppie) and Carlton (Puma)

I adopted Topanga (formerly Poppie) in April of this year and then Carlton (formerly Puma) in June. They are a handful to say the least! I love them both very much!

Topanga is so soft that I swear she is part bunny! And Carlton came to me a homeless, scrappy looking kitty and has transformed into a healthy, beautiful boy. It is truly amazing what good food, a warm environment, and some love will do. :)

I would like to personally thank everyone from homeward pets for helping me find my best friends- a special thanks to Laurel who took a lot of time helping me find the right ones!

Emmy - Sophie

Hi, We adopted Emmy. She likes to cuddle but loves to play . We renamed her Sophie. We probably called a million different names before we finally decided on Sophie. She is the cutest and funniest little girl in the world. Thanks Homeward!!
