Just an update from Seamus's family.
We very unexpectantly lost our older dog Bo to cancer this week. The symptoms came on fast and the cancer was very aggressive. It was a very unhappy surprise for our 12 and a half year old lab and terrible to see him suffer.
We are just so happy that Seamus got to meet and play with Bo in his final weeks. And, we are also so happy that we brought our new family member home as he's made it so much easier to get through the loss of the dog we loved to much.
Thanks Homeward Pet for making a difference.
For a puppy with three legs Seamus gets around incredibly well. In fact, sometimes we are amazed at how fast he runs and how high he can jump. He's a riot and is beginning to learn his commands very well.
Thanks so much to Homeward Pet for saving Seamus and allowing us to bring him home and make him a part of our family. For a boy who was injured enough to need a leg amputated he's an extremely well-adjusted dog and we believe that is a testament to the care and love he got while he was with you.
Thanks again!
He's still recovering from his neutering. We went to the vet for his check up and because he wouldn't quit licking it, and she gave him an e-collar (which he hates). His surgery site is looking much better though we're still on short walks and play till it closes up a bit more. I can't wait to get this guy feeling better so we can go to the dog park to really let 'im rip!
He's doing pretty good learning basic commands. I'll be enrolling him in the obedience classes today. I'm very grateful for those and the free vet check. They helped out so much in making sure I have everything I need for Diddy.
I've attached a picture. I like to think Dids is satisfied with his new human and Forever Home.
Thank you Homeward Pet, I knew you guys would help me find the perfect companion match.
Sincerely,
Laura and Diddy
We just want to thank you for allowing us to bring Lucy into our family. She is a complete joy and there is not one day that she is not putting a smile on our face. Her personality is so sweet we could not have asked for a sweeter pet, she loves our other dog Cooper and he is doing great with the whole puppy thing :)
Thanks again for allowing her to move to our home

Hi! I adopted Serena back in May & I just wanted to write & let you know how she's doing. After a couple days of getting use to her new surroundings, her personality really started coming out. She has a lot of energy (at times) & loves playing with our cat. They are really good friends & even sleep together sometimes! Serena is such a good dog & listens very well. She brings so much joy to our lives & I want to thank you for making it all possible! We love her so much!
Thanks again,
Sara, Josh & Serena
I wanted to give you an update on Elmo (renamed to Vash the Stampede)
We adopted Vash in Mid-April after being warned about him being "really crazy". Vash's "craziness" is a welcome addition to our home. He is the epitome of a kitten in every way. Our 8 year old calico was nervous about him at first but Vash was the perfect little kitty and let her adjust to him on her own time.
Now they both wake us up at 5 AM running up and down the stairs playing. Vash will be one year old in a couple weeks but you can't convince him of that. He still thinks he is a newborn kitten and plans to stay that way for a long time to come.
Thanks you for Vash. He is purrfect for us.
Thanks for your inquiry about Sasha and Sammi, two 8 year old sisters I adopted about a month ago. I am so happy with these two sisters and they are doing really well. Sasha is completely relaxed and comfortable with her new home. She plays, she purrs, she watches the birds and squirrels outside the dining room window, she's even a lap cat, which pleases me so much.
Little Sammi is still a bit shy and nervous, but she is coming along nicely. She likes to play, she purrs, she likes to sleep on my bed, she loves to be petted and both cats are little "talkers". I've enclosed a recent photo of Sasha (first photo) and Sammi (second photo). They are precious little cats and I'm just so happy to have them and everyday I look forward to learning more new things about them. So far, I can't find one bad habit and they just bring a lot of sunshine into our home.
Yours sincerely, Judy
Greetings!
My name is Jessica and I adopted a cat from Homeward about 2 months ago.
His name is Maximus and I adopted him in April at 17 pounds.
Hes is down to a little under 15lbs and doing very well in my home. He
loves attention and is very sweet and playful. Thank you so much for
finding me such a great match!
-take care and thanks so much for the care and love for these animals
that your team provides daily.
Love Jess and Max
After now having had her for a week, I thought you'd appreciate an update on how Gidget is coming along in her new home.. As you can see in the attached pic, Gidget is fitting in pretty well, getting along especially well with our cat and our other toy poodle. She and our husky are still a little leery of each-other, but they seem to be getting better adjusted to the other's presence as more time passes. Gidget has been in to see our vet already and he believes that she's in pretty good health.
Thanks for rescuing Gidget and taking care of her for the past few weeks (and thank her foster parents for us as well!),

Hello Homeward Pets
Our cat Benjamin, aka Bailey, has settled in great with our family. He has a nice personality, likes to play with his toy mice and cuddle up on the couch. He also keeps us on our toes with his crazy antics...climbing up into the garage rafters, jumping under the covers to bite our toes and batting at the TV. We wouldn't have it any other way! ~Bailey’s new family
