Edina and Patsy

Edina & Patsy - now named Edie and Pixie - are growing like weeds.  They have settled in quite well to their new forever home (as you can tell they have taken it over)!  I am happy to say that with a little time my other 11 yr old cat has grown to love them as well.  These two are full of energy and love.  When they are not playing with all their toys, you can usually find them sleeping together.  I commend their foster home because these two precious ones are the most socialized kittens that I have ever seen.

They are walking purr machines!

Thank you all for everything you do.

Sounder and his buddy Simba!

Hello,

We are so pleased with our "fur baby"-Sounder! Here he is with our other baby-Simba! They are best friends! They play together and they groom each other, sleep together and get in all sorts of stuff together! You can tell we do not have kids, but we have "fur" babies! They rule the house!!

Thank you for all you do!

God Bless,

Janet & Mike

Shasta

Thanks for checking in on Shasta.  He is settling in nicely.  Slowly our elder, semi-feral is beginning to warm up to him, but we are taking it slowly.  Fortunately, we have enough space that he can have his own room during the day so they don't have to share the same space when no one is here to supervise.  Eventually, we hope they will get along well enough that he won't have to be locked up in the room we call the 'kitty office'.

Sunday he began sitting in the rocking chair, the exact spot as his predecessor.  It took me awhile to keep from calling him the wrong name.  He is a joy and we are thrilled to have him as part of our family.

Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work.

Tully the Tiger (AKA Clyde)

Hi,
I wanted to send an update about Clyde aka Tully the Tigger.  He is settling in wonderfully, and even my 10 year Beagle Chloe has taken to him.  He is starting to explore outside his safe room and quickly making the house his home. Tully meet with Dr. Beliven last week and all his records have been filed with them. He even didn't mind having his nails trimmed.
I can't thank you enough for taking him in and letting me adopt him.
Jacqueline (aka Tully's Mom)

Lola the Pug

We are coming up on our 6 month anniversary of the day we brought Lola home from Homeward Pet.  She is an amazing addition to our family, I cannot imagine a better dog for us.  Cuddling seems to be her favorite thing to do next to eating.  The cats are still unsure of her, but Lola is gentle if not timid with them.  Our 2 daughters smother her with kisses and hugs daily.  I am unsure of her past exercise regime, so we are working on building her muscle tone with plenty of walks and even the occasional run.  We are so grateful for our experience with Homeward Pets, our lives are changed forever.

Thank you!

We love our furry family member

Hi. I don't think we have ever sent a photo of our dog that we adopted from you. It's been 4 years now and he is such a blessing. We love him dearly. Thank you for a great family member!!!!

Hamilton and Big Brother

Hamilton is doing very well thank you, he's settled right in with our other kitty.

The Nugget

I would like to thank you and your amazing staff for taking such good care of me and my family on Sunday when we came in to meet some itty bitty dogs. We've always been big dog people and none of us would have ever bet on our family ever having a tiny dog. But after months of researching what the perfect 4th canine companion should be for our family and seeing the huge need for homes for these pocket sized pooches I thought we better meet a few. I had to bring my son and husband in against their desires to meet the wee ones. I did not expect the emotional reaction we all had when we met Nugget (Boots). By the time we left they were arguing who could hold him on the ride home.
Little Nugget has fit into our home so smoothlessly. My worries of adding a 4th dog have been for not. We were pleasantly surprised how our big dogs welcomed the new pup and tolerate him so sweetly. Our not so friendly with strange dogs female Stella was sleeping soundly with Nugget snuggled up against her chest his second day with our family. Our senior citizen dog Harley who plays with no one keeps trying to play with the Nugget. Calvin, our rule follower and manners guru has been a wonderful teacher. He keeps Nugget in check and makes sure he does what has been asked of the group. He's making my training job very easy. And Nugget is already picking up all the clues.

Day two and he can sit and down already when I ask all 4 to do so.

Regards,

Kathryn

Candy

This is Candy, who we adopted from you in September 2010.  When we got her she had lost a lot of her fur, had a tapeworm and giardia.  With medication and good food she went from 10# to just under 16# (shouldn't mention a girl's weight) and beautiful blond coat.  The best thing is her crooked smile.  She has made a huge difference in our miniature schnauzer, Freud, who was very lonely after his brother died.  They romp and play and when one of them is gone, they are very happy when they return.  I swear she kisses him.
She is a great little dog and enjoys her sofa time with Wanda and I and Freud, a fantastic dog and soooooooo sweet.  She found her forever home and we are lucky to have her!!!
